Seems it was only a week or so ago when I posted my dividend income from June. It has already been a whole month since then. Can’t believe how fast this year is going by. Need to enjoy the nice weather more while it is still around. Nothing really anything exciting happened this month, but from a dividend perspective, there are some outstanding growth percentages. Let’s dive into the numbers!
June is officially over and with it, another quarter ending month and half of 2017. Crazy how fast time goes! It has been crazy busy lately around my household so hard to find time for anything, but it’s still nice to take a moment and stop to reflect on last month and its achievements. Quarter ending months are the things DGI investors live for. And they are some of our favorite months to report because they usually entail huge gains and dividend income. So I am pleased to present my June 2017 dividends!
Wow, I can’t believe May is already over. That went so fast. Finally the weather is starting to turn and get warmer. I get to spend a lot more time outside playing sports and just enjoy the summer time. The best thing to remember though is, while you are out having fun, your invested money is still working for you! Let’s take a look at how my portfolio performed in May. See more details from May below:
As the excitement from the record breaking first quarter results dwindle, just like that the first month in the second quarter is behind us as well. While March tends to be a large month for dividend investors since it ends the quarter, April was a little lacking for my liking, at least for me anyway. But you can’t argue with growth of any kind when every little bit helps. See more details from April below:
The first quarter is done and in the books. I don’t know about you, but March is the month I have been looking most forward to posting about since the year started. Not only did I shatter my YoY% growth, I hit two milestones! Breaking the record for most dividends in a single month as well as the first month to hit triple digits of dividends. See below for all the details of my March dividends and breakdown of the first quarter:
Two months are already completed for this year. Wow, how time files. February is usually a slow month for the dividend community, myself included. There were only a few exciting things going on. One, KO raised its dividend so I should see those results come April. Two, while I did not make any new buys this month, I did manage to save up and pay off my next semester of school. It doesn’t help out my portfolio, but it does keep me honest to my goals of managing debt and not taking any more on.
All dividends have been accounted for in February and it’s time to review the results. Details are below:
The first month of the year has just about come to a end. Hopefully everyone has been hitting the ground running so far in the new year. A lot has happened this month; Trump being inaugurated into office, the Dow hit 20,000 for the first time in history, and for all you tennis fans out there following the Australian Open, we are about to have a Williams sister final on the women’s side and a Federer vs. Nadal final on the men’s side. I am excited, because that has not happened in years.
That’s enough excitement for now, lets get back to the recap. All of the dividends are in for January and it’s time to analyze and publish the results. See below for details.
Now that 2016 is over, it’s time for one last overview post to cap it off. The last nail in the coffin so to speak. Oh, too soon for a bad 2016 analogy? Well on a more positive note, this past year has been filled with many accomplishments and I believe it’s important to review in order to make goals for the New Year. Reiterating the past is the best way to solidify the future. Look back on all the past achievements and failures. Keep the good while learning from the bad. Let’s see what 2016 had in store for me.
What an exciting month in the dividend world. I am especially excited at my results this month. Not only is this the first year I received any dividends in the month of December, but I also hit a record high for any month! See below for the details breakdown.
Well it’s been a crazy month. I’m sure you all can agree. With the recent election there have been some market swings but all in all it’s holding strong. This post comes a little early but with the holidays fast approaching, sadly I am unable to put any more capital into stocks this month. See below for the update on this months portfolio activity and dividend income.
