November Portfolio Summary

Well it’s been a crazy month. I’m sure you all can agree. With the recent election there have been some market swings but all in all it’s holding strong. This post comes a little early but with the holidays fast approaching, sadly I am unable to put any more capital into stocks this month. See below for the update on this months portfolio activity and dividend income.

Purchases

TGT – Target – 18 shares

Dividends

T – At&t – $21.72

KMI – Kinder Morgan – $2.35

NNN – National Retail PPTYS – $12.78

HCP – HCP Inc. – $18.18

This brings November’s dividend income total to $55

Other

This month was very exciting as HCP finally released their spinoff company going under the ticker of QCP. For every 5 shares of HCP you held, you would receive 1 share of QCP. I was fortunate enough to hold enough shares to grant me 9 free shares of the spinoff.

  • Nice update. This is your first one, so I don’t know how it compares to other months. But as a newbie to the community, posting $55 is quite impressive.

Thank you. The snowball has begun. Was finally able to ramp up my investing in 2016 so this is when I am starting to see decent numbers. I am fairly confident that I should see at least $50 a month for all of 2017.
